Knights Honor our Fallen Veterans in Wilmington Memorial Day Parade

Knights raise Money for Charity with Guest Bartender Night
Many guests came out to support the Knights at Brandywine Brewing Company on November 15th as they raised over $1300 dollars to benefit Catholic Charities and Haiti Relief efforts. Thanks to all who came out and gave so generously.
Knights Support School Fundraiser for Guatemala
The Msgr Dewson Knights of Columbus donated ice cream for a student-organized fundraiser at Saint Ann’s last evening (April 21) seeking to raise funds for our sister diocese of San Marcos, Guatemala.
Knights Honor Student Vocation Essay Winners
Each year, the State Council of the Knights of Columbus sponsors an essay contest designed to encourage Catholic school students to consider and learn about the Church’s rich history of vocations.Saint Ann’s students have participated in this effort for a number of years. This year’s winners within Saint Ann’s School are:
- 5th Grade – Audrey Mahoney
- 6th Grade – Megan leach
- 7th Grade – Meredith Kuchma
- 8th Grade – Ellie Veith
The Monsignor Dewson council presented each of the winners with a $25 gift card good for movie tickets. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all who participated!

We prepared a meal of chicken pot pie and vegetarian chili for those staying at the House and their families.

Saint Casimir Dinner – March 7, 2015
The Knights assisted at Saint Ann’s Saint Casimir dinner last evening. Saint Casimir is the patron saint of Poland and Lithuania and the young. Eastern European food prepared by our chaplain and associate pastor Father Dan Stiniskas was served to a crowd of over 130 people. Later in the evening, Father Dan’s band The Midnight Ramblers performed for the enthusiastic crowd.
